Prominent Symptoms of Gall Bladder Stones
The gall stones can be very dangerous and can be the cause for the happenings of severe consequences to the persons facing it.
The main activities of the gall stones that cause the symptoms are by the inflammation or the obstruction of the biliary passage and also then following their immigration or the transfer to the cystic duct or the CBD that is the Common Bile Duct.
The most specific and severe symptom of the disease related to the gall stone is that of the colic in the biliary passage. Then due to any kind of obstruction produced in the cystic duct or may be the Common Bile Duct there can be an increase in the pressure intra luminal area which in turn may cause a swelling or over distension of the viscus and the pain hence caused is not relieved by any type of contractions in the biliary passages.
These characteristics pain in the visceras are really very severe, steady aching or pressure in the regions of the Epigastrium that is the upper middle region of the abdomen, with the pain from there radiating to other areas also such as the area of the inter scapular region or may be the right scapula, or in the shoulder anywhere.
The colic in the biliary passages is usually a sudden beginning without any prior indications. These pains once started may even persist for more than two to four hours at a stretch. This type of colic pains are also often accompanied by the pains which are again felt in the Epigastrium and these may go up to a limit of more than twenty four hours also.
Then the most prominent symptoms of Jaundice especially the obstructive type of Jaundice is more probable in cases which are related with the gall stone producing symptoms. There are increased levels of bilirubin and hence there is the yellowish discoloration of the skin sclera and the mucus membrane.
